Companies rely on the protections of privilege to obtain sound legal advice to guide their businesses. Thus, it is critical for in-house counsel to stay up-to-date on the ins and outs of the various privileges, including attorney-client privilege, and common interest privilege. The ACC Georgia Chapter welcomes Fish & Richardson attorneys Noah Graubart, Aamir Kazi, and Dexter Whitley who will guide you through common pitfalls of privilege that companies fall into and how to avoid them.

Our Fish speakers will cover the following topics and more:

• Different types of privilege and when they apply

• Waiver of privilege and scope of the waiver

• Common interest privilege and potential pitfalls

CLE credit of 1.0 hour is being applied for and, if approved, will be submitted to the State Bar of Georgia for attendees licensed to practice in Georgia.

Attendance is limited to ACC members and their invited in-house counsel guests, as well as prospective ACC members. ACC membership is open to attorneys who practice law as in-house counsel employees of organizations and who do not hold themselves out to the public for the practice of law.

While we understand that some "no shows" are unavoidable, we kindly ask that you please consider our speaker and hosts who have spent a considerable amount of time and resources to put this event on for you before deciding not to attend. Good attendance helps ensure that ACC Georgia can continue to offer CLE programming and networking events at no cost to our ACC Georgia members. If you need to cancel, we ask for 48 hours’ notice to georgia@accglobal.com.

If you have any questions, please contact Connie Swindell-Harding at georgia@accglobal.com.
